Format

As the ACT State League is the Competition Pathways provider for the NPL in Canberra, ACT the competition will use NPL Match formats where possible to give players the NPL experience. The NPL formats give the players the opportunity to play match formats you will see under usual tournament conditions (rarely you will see rally scoring at a sanctioned event). Mirroring our International and National Pro-Leagues individuals will be allocated to one of the 4 Pickleball Canberra teams. Minor considerations of “event partnerships or friendships” may be factored in (especially in the lower DUPR brackets) however, creating evenly matched teams is the goal being a development stepping stone for the National Pickleball League (NPL).
Best of 4 Team Games (A ‘draw’ is possible)
